REIGN BAR Not Hitting — Run These Checks in Order
A device that produces nothing when you draw is usually not broken. Work through these in order, because each one is more common than the one after it.
- 1. Charge it over USB-C. A flat cell is the single most common cause, and it is not always obvious — some models dim the display before they stop firing entirely. Give it twenty minutes on a known-good cable.
- 2. Check the juice level. An empty tank will not fire no matter how much battery is left. On the Amber 70K, the VLITE X and the VLITE the tank is transparent, so look at it rather than guess; on the Mana the screen reports it.
- 3. Take a shorter, slower draw. Every device in the line cuts off past a maximum continuous draw length. A long hard pull reads as 'not hitting' when the device is deliberately stopping.
- 4. Check for a blocked mouthpiece. Condensation and lint collect in the airway, especially on a device carried loose in a pocket. Blow gently backwards through it.
- 5. On a Palette 50K, reseat the pod. The pods connect magnetically, and a pod sitting slightly proud makes poor contact.
If all five come back clean, it is a warranty case rather than a user-fixable one.
BLINKING
Why a REIGN BAR Blinks — and What Each Case Means
A blinking indicator is the device reporting a condition, not failing. Three conditions cause nearly all of it.
Low battery. Most common by a wide margin. Charge it — if the blinking stops, that was the answer.
Puff cut-off. Triggered by a draw held past the device's limit. Wait a few seconds and take a shorter one; nothing needs fixing.
Dry or failing coil. If it blinks on a full charge with juice visibly left, and the draw tastes harsh, the coil is the problem. That is not serviceable on a sealed disposable — it is a claim.
A device that blinks continuously and will not charge at all should come off the charger and be set aside. Do not keep cycling it.
BURNT TASTE
Burnt or Muted Draws — Almost Always the Juice Level
On a pre-filled device a burnt taste means the coil is firing with too little liquid around it. The fix is rarely mechanical.
Check the level first. On the transparent-tank models — the Amber 70K, VLITE X 35K and VLITE 15K — you can see it directly, which is exactly what that design is for. If the tank is genuinely low, the device is near the end of its life and resting it will not restore the flavor.
If there is plenty of juice left, slow down. Chain-vaping outruns the wick's ability to resaturate the coil, and the result tastes scorched even on a nearly full device.
On the Mana 50K there is a third option the others do not have: drop out of Boost. Boost runs 31W, and at that power a marginally-wicked coil tastes burnt where the same pod in Eco does not.
CHARGING
REIGN BAR Not Charging — Cable, Port, Then Claim
Try a different cable and a different power source before anything else. USB-C cables fail far more often than the devices they charge, and a sleeping laptop port looks identical to a dead battery.
Then check the port for lint — a compacted plug of pocket debris holds the connector just far enough out to stop it seating. A dry cocktail stick clears it; nothing metal.
Mild warmth while charging is normal. A device that becomes genuinely hot to hold, swells, or gives off any chemical smell should be unplugged immediately and not used again. Contact us rather than trying to recover it.
PER-DEVICE
Quirks That Look Like Faults on Specific Models
Palette 50K — one pod stops, the other keeps going. Each pod carries its own tank and coil, so they genuinely fail independently and they empty at different rates. One dying does not mean the other is about to. Check the magnetic contact faces are clean and seated before treating it as a fault.
Mana 50K — the sweetness or ice setting will not move. Those scales are locked while the device is firing. Stop drawing, let the screen settle, then adjust. If the screen is dark, charge it first: the controls need the display live.
Amber 70K — the draw suddenly feels tight or loose. The airflow ring at the base turns freely, and it turns in a pocket. Reset it by hand rather than assuming the device changed.
MIX 25K — it will not snap to a second pod. Check both magnetic faces for debris. That connection is the same one a Palette 50K ships already assembled with.
WHEN TO CLAIM
When to Stop Troubleshooting and File a Claim
Stop and contact us if the device is dead on arrival, will not charge on a known-good cable, leaks, arrived damaged, or blinks continuously on a full charge with juice still in the tank. Those are warranty conditions, and cycling a faulty device does not improve the outcome.
Our quality window is 30 days from delivery. Email service@reignbarvapes.com with your order number, the device and flavor, and a photo or short video. We reply within 24 business hours and ship approved replacements from Denver, CO within a business day.
Replacing a device you are still using? The REIGN BAR store stocks every model, and the REIGN BAR flavors menu shows live stock per flavor.
SAFETY
Two Things That Are Never Worth Troubleshooting
Do not open, puncture or attempt to refill a REIGN BAR — every model in the line is a sealed disposable and there is nothing serviceable inside. And do not keep using a device that has become hot, swollen, or that smells of anything chemical. Unplug it, set it somewhere non-flammable, and contact us. A replacement is cheaper than the alternative.

FAQ
Common Questions
My REIGN BAR is blinking and will not fire. What does that mean?
A blinking light almost always means one of three things: the battery is flat, the device has hit its puff cut-off from a long continuous draw, or the coil is dry. Charge it over USB-C first — that resolves most cases. If it blinks on a full charge, wait a minute and take a shorter draw.
The flavor has gone burnt or muted.
On any pre-filled device this usually means the juice is running low and the coil is being asked to fire dry. On the devices with a visible tank — the Amber, VLITE and VLITE X — look at the level directly rather than guessing. On the Mana, dropping the power out of Boost also reduces how hard the coil is driven.
It gets warm while charging. Is that a problem?
Mild warmth is normal. A device that becomes hot to hold, swells, or smells of anything chemical should be unplugged immediately and not used again — contact us instead of trying to fix it.
One pod of my Palette 50K stopped working.
Each pod has its own tank and its own coil, so they fail independently — one dying does not mean the other will. Check the magnetic contact faces are clean and seated. If a pod is genuinely dead within 30 days of delivery, that is a warranty case: email us with your order number.
The Mana's sweetness or ice setting will not change.
Those scales are set on the device, and they are locked while it is actively firing. Stop drawing, wait for the screen to settle, then adjust. If the screen shows nothing at all, charge it first — the adjustment controls need the display to be live.
